Welcome to Part 2 of our ‘Dreaming Big and Annual Planning Workshop,’ the second half of our two-part workshop series where I will show you how to ignore all self-limiting thoughts and dream big about your business, while setting up a successful and realistic annual plan.

If you haven’t already listened to Part 1, I highly recommend that you stop this episode and listen to that one first, then come back. You can also download your very own annual planning workbook right here!

Before starting, I want to take a minute to celebrate an incredible 200 episodes, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening! Whether you’re a new listener or you’ve been with me since Episode 1, I am so grateful to you. Thank you for subscribing, reviewing, and sharing this podcast.

In the first half of this workshop, Episode 199, we covered what annual planning is, what to do before you plan, the metrics you should collect, and how to conduct a business audit. For our second half (and final episode!) we will focus on the step-by-step plan itself, which you can repeat for every year.

Today, let’s chat about:

  • Which marketing and sales campaigns are you going to offer?
  • How are you going to enroll clients?
  • What worked and didn’t work last year?
  • How can you choose a realistic annual goal?
  • What components of the plan do you need, and in what order?
  • Who do you have to become to achieve this dream?

Think of it this way. You’re going on a trip. In order to arrive at the final destination, you first need to have a final destination picked.

You can map the safest and fastest route, but at any point in time, there might be road blocks that come up that cause you to deviate from the original itinerary. Some of the deviations might add on more time, or take you into unknown territory. But as long as you’re still on your way to the final destination, that’s all that matters.

Trouble ensues when you deviate SO much from the itinerary that you wind up lost, or you quit and just go home.

Annual planning is a process that sets your year up for success as smoothly and seamlessly as possible, so getting lost, overwhelmed, or quitting becomes unthinkable.

What We Talk About In This Episode:

  • Setting an annual revenue goal
  • Focusing on selling only one program in the beginning
  • Mapping out your dates at least 6 months in advance
  • Looking for weak spots in your program
  • Having a high-level list of projects you want to work on
  • Identifying your constraints or non-negotiables
  • Not feeling guilty for changing your goal midway through

Can you do me a favor?

I’d love it if you would post your revenue goal in the Take Your Health Practice Online Facebook Group. State it loud and proud. There is no shame in striving for growth.
