Welcome to Part 1 of our ‘Dreaming Big and Annual Planning Workshop,’ the first half of a two-part workshop series where I’m going to walk you through how to do one of my favorite things in the world...dreaming big and annual planning.

That’s right, these next two episodes will be workshop-style podcasts complete with your very own annual planning workbook, which you can easily download here!

Before we begin, I want to share a special Business of Becoming podcast update with you. I’ve decided to create seasons of the show for a fresh new format. So expect a very sensational Season 1 to open up the New Year with a bang.

If you’re brand new to Business of Becoming, head over to your favorite podcast listening app and subscribe so you don’t miss our premiere season. I can’t wait to share more of my easy-to-follow strategies with you.

Our next episode will discuss my personal annual planning process, but for now let’s cover:

  • What is annual planning in general?
  • What do you need to do before you begin?
  • What information do you need to conduct first?
  • How do you run an audit on your business, and why is it important?

The point of annual planning is to mold your growth mindset, release all of the limitations you place on yourself, and give yourself permission to just dream BIG.

Building a thriving business requires constant upgrading. But that doesn’t mean you need to rush the process or overwhelm yourself in the making of it.

What We Talk About In This Episode:

  • The 4 goal categories: revenue, profit purpose, profit percentage, and constraints
  • The 5 metric categories: total revenue, product revenue, email list, social media, and expenses
  • Writing the “What Did and Didn’t Work” outline
  • Implementing the current year’s metrics to set future goals
  • Collecting key pieces of information for your audit
  • Using the audit results as a tool to identify weak spots
