The conversation of “Ambition vs. Motherhood” is one that I hold near and dear to my heart. Today I sit down with Dr. Meghan Walker to discuss the ever-evolving role of women and mothers in the business world.  It’s a topic that’s full of heart and will only continue to evolve as time goes on. Listen in for a great conversation about finding the balance to feeling accomplished in both aspects of life!

With intent and time to plan, you can get your entire family on board with the vision for your business. One of the best things I’ve ever discovered, what figuring out what season of life I was currently in AND how best to be productive with my time and vision in that season.

You won’t be able to make everybody 100% happy all of the time. But you also cannot be authentically generous without establishing boundaries for yourself. Don’t get stuck on being the exact vision you used to have, your time and vision will always be an evolution. Your demands and responsibilities will grow and change as your seasons of life do, so own that! Once I learned how to judge what success looks like for me during this season of my life, I experienced such a positive shift!

In this episode, I share…

  • “Ambition AND Motherhood” over “Ambition vs Motherhood”
  • Intent. Intent.
  • Set boundaries up front, both business and personal
  • Getting your family on board with your vision
  • Outsource what you can, where you can!
  • You don’t have to do ALL of the things ALL of the time, nor can you.
