We have a special episode today - I interview Lori Nikkel, CEO of Second Harvest which is our charity for the Wellness Business Summit this year.

She shares her inspiring journey on how she’s become the person she is today, and shares some amazing insights on how to create a vision and a goal that can guide you to think outside of the box. We cover why it’s important to have a very specific mission (it’s easy to get distracted), and why it’s important sometimes to say “no”.

I will see you in the episode!

More About Lori Nikkel

Lori Nikkel was announced as the CEO of Second Harvest in July 2018. She has twenty years of senior leadership experience in food security and environmental protection. Lori joined Second Harvest in 2014 as the Director of Programs and Partnerships successfully expanding critical Second Harvest programs. During this time, Lori created and directed the implementation of Foodrescue.ca, a web-based platform with a technological approach to rescuing and delivering surplus food.  She has played a key role in growing Second Harvest's influence within the environmental sector.

Her goal is to continue to grow their effort to rescue and deliver the freshest, healthiest surplus food possible, to reduce our collective impact on the environment while providing the emergency food necessary for healthy communities.

You can find more about Second Harvest at their website, secondharvest.ca, and on Instagram.
